App and Apple Health

Sokuho runs the interval timer on your Apple Watch. Times, signal selection, and manual settings remain stored locally. There is no Sokuho account, and none of your workout or heart rate data is transmitted to this web server or to Kindler Dev.

With your permission, Sokuho saves workouts to Apple Health and reads your own workouts as well as the associated heart rate measurements for progress and history. The optional date of birth is used to calculate age; the date of birth and the age derived from it are not additionally stored permanently. A manually entered age remains in the local settings until you change it or delete the app data.

New workouts also include phases, breaks, and the basis for the heart rate zones at that time. This information is available along with the workout in Health. Apple’s storage, synchronization, and backup depend on your Apple settings.

You can control individual access permissions in the Health privacy settings and revoke them at any time. Health data processing occurs with your consent based on Art. 6(1)(a) and Art. 9(2)(a) of the GDPR. Without write permission, Sokuho will not start any Health training; without read permissions, history or zones may be missing. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to the withdrawal.

Uninstalling or deleting the app does not automatically remove existing Health workouts. Manage and delete these separately in Apple Health. Sokuho settings remain in effect until the app data is modified or removed.
